Card Size 4 ¼" x 5 ½"
Products:
- 1 sheet of "Cherry Tree"
- 1 sheet of "Cherry Luck"
- Cherry Pie stamp set
- 6 x 6 mini paddie from My Sweet Cherry Pie line
Supplies:
- 1 sheet of 8 ½" x 11 white Bazzil cardstock, (this is for the base of your card, so you can chose any color you would like to use.)
- 1 sheet of Green Bazzill card stock
- Red, green, black, brown, and blue ink
- Green embroidery floss and needle
- Glitter Pen
For card base: Take a sheet of 8 ½" x 11" card stock. Measure 5 ½" from the top and cut a horizontal line so you will end up with two pieces of paper that are 5 ½" x 8 ½". (This is your card base). Fold each half in half so that you will have a card that is 4 ¼" x 5 ½".
Cherry Tree Card
- Take a sheet of "Cherry Tree" paper and cut a horizontal strip that is 5 ½" x 12" from the top. (just the yellow, not the tree)
- On the strip that you just cut, cut off 4 ¼" so your paper should be 4 ¼" x 5 ½". Adhere to the front base of card.
- From the 6 x 6 mini paddie use the page with the green gingham/ plaid, cut green plaid strip down to 5 ¼"x ½" center and adhere strip 1/8" from the bottom of the card.
- On a separate piece of paper stamp the tree from the My Sweet Cherry Pie stamp set with brown ink, cut out tree and adhere to the lower left-hand side of the card leaving space for stitched stamp circle.
- Stamp stitched oval around top of tree, with the green embroidery floss stitch on top of stamped lines.
- Using the smallest cherry and stems, stamp cherry in tree using black ink for the stems and red ink for the cherry.
- Under tree using the smallest cherry stem, stamp legs for the bird on top of green gingham/plaid (as shown in picture).
- On separate piece of paper stamp bird using blue ink. Cut out and adhere on top of bird legs on the card.
- Using the medium cherry stem and leaves stamp the cherry on lower right side of card above green gingham/plaid.
- With red ink stamp "Life's a bowl of cherries" between the bluebird and stamped cherries.
- With black pen outline card as shown.
Lucky Me Card
- Using "Cherry Luck" paper cut out the second strip of cherries and horseshoes from the right. (This cut will be vertical and you will have two circled horseshoes in this strip.)
- From that strip cut off ¼" of the top of the cherry circle strip.
- From there you will cut 4 ¼" from the top. (Now you will have one full cherry circle and one full horseshoe circle leaving partial cherry circles at the top and bottom as shown.)
- Cut a strip that is 2" x 4 ¼" from the green Bazzill card stock.
- Center and adhere cherry horseshoe strip to green Bazzill card stock.
- Now adhere matted cherry horseshoe strip to card base.
- With black pen outline green card stock mat as shown.
- Stamp "Lucky Me" from the stamp set in the lower right-hand corner with ink color of your choice.
- With green acrylic paint, ink edges of card.
- Using glitter pen, and glitter over the words “Lucky Me.”
- Set aside and let dry.
